Capt. Jason is a native of St. Augustine with roots tracing back to the first settlers. His 25 years of local knowledge and experience will assure you a memorable day on the water. Born and raised fishing the pristine waters of northeast Florida, Capt. Jason is a second generation local guide and while aboard you will be treated to the most productive light tackle, backcountry, fly, or offshore fishing that Northeast Florida has to offer.

Capt. Jason has been fishing as a tournament professional for the past 6 years on the major Redfish Trails. This season he is an angler on the ESPN 2 O boy Oberto Redfish Cup and IFA Redfish Tours.

Inshore, Capt. Jason stalks Redfish as a primary target species. Sight fishing these bruisers is his speciality. The excitement of seeing a fish and then feeding it a piece of plastic will surely get your heart pumping. However there are other species such as flounder, trout, and many others to provide you with a memorable angling experience as well as an excellent meal.

Offshore is where our team concept comes into play. Capt. Jason and Partner Capt. Scott Senecal will show you how the Kingfish Pros fish. Kingfish are one of the most sought-after saltwater tournament fish. While aboard the Knott Home you will be catching these speedsters along with the many other species we have in our waters such as Wahoo, Dolphin, Snapper, Grouper, Tarpon, Cobia and many more. Capt.Scott and Team Knott Home are the 2007 Greater Jacksonville Kingfish Tournament Overall Grand Champions, also he has run the Knott Home to several wins and multiple top ten finishes on the SKA and FLW Kingfish Series. He is currently 6th in that Pro division for team of the year.

So whether it's fishing the backcountry and flats for Redfish, Flounder, and Trout or fishing in the beautiful Atlantic Ocean for Kingfish, Tarpon, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, or Dolphin, Capt Jason and his crew have the experience to provide you with an angling adventure you are sure to enjoy!
